Informal Assessments & Analysis Write Up

This includes: 

• phonological awareness
• reading assessment
• reading miscue analysis
• spelling test
• free writing analysis
• questionnaires based on learner priorities, language skills, memory and organisation. 

For subject specific tutoring and study skills, the informal assessments are optional. However, the assessments are essential for dyslexia intervention.

Please note, these assessments are tools to help with teaching students with dyslexia. They are not intended for any formal diagnosis. 

A one off payment of £80

Private Tuition 

Sessions are conducted one-to-one and are normally booked on a weekly basis and paid for at an hourly rate. 

However, I can also offer longer sessions or one off sessions to cover a pre-arranged topic.

£35 per hour + mileage (or 6 sessions for £180 + mileage)

Progress Reviews

Periodically, (usually every half term) I review the learners progress against their objectives. Then we can discuss the findings, adjust our approach where required and set new targets.
